NSW Government agencies
NSW Government agencies are required to undertake procurement in accordance with the Procurement Board Direction 2013-03 and the Procurement Policy Framework. Agencies are required to purchase goods and services from whole-of-government contracts where they exist. Where no NSW Government contract exists, agency buyers can undertake their own procurement in accordance with approved procurement methods for goods and services in the Procurement Policy Framework. NSW Procurement Board Direction 2013-03 provides the requirements for accredited and unaccredited agencies.
NSW Government contracts and prequalification schemes enable eligible buyers to purchase a wide range of goods and services at competitive prices. They are established with the aim of maximising savings through negotiated price reductions, enhancing the available product range, and increasing supplier contract performance.
The pages listed below contain a breakdown of the goods and services currently available through these contracts and prequalification schemes.
